We currently offer certification for the following workforce training programs: Building Standards, Teacher Certification, and Public Art. Our certified training material is available at cost through our partner organization's websites. The material is structured around a two-week course. Please click on a specific program to view the associated material.
Workforce training offers certification upon completion of the course. Because workers are familiar with the standards, and they have already proven proficiency, they can be fast-tracked into the profession. Non-certified workers can still meet standards, but they must prove proficiency, which may require supervision.
A functioning economy depends on small businesses (small developers, small farmers, small neighborhood schools, etc.). The distribution of skills is necessary for the compositional mix of labor to work. Corporate control weakens the community and stifles innovation.
